We ask for a current certificate of insurance showing at least the $500,000 of commercial general liability cover New Jersey requires. Ask for a copy naming you before work starts.
We only pass your job to contractors who genuinely cover your town and do that specific type of work, rather than whoever is nearest on a map.

No. We are a referral service, not a contractor. Every job is carried out by an independent local contractor who holds their own New Jersey Home Improvement Contractor registration and insurance, prices the job themselves, and contracts directly with you.

Most homeowners hear from at least one contractor within one business day. For urgent plumbing or storm damage, call us instead of using the form, because that reaches someone faster.
Ask for their NJ Home Improvement Contractor registration number and verify it at njconsumeraffairs.gov, ask for a certificate of insurance naming at least $500,000 of general liability cover, and get everything over $500 in a written contract with a total price and start and finish dates. Never pay for the whole job up front.
